About Webkinz

Webkinz are stuffed animals released by the Ganz company in early 2005. They are similar to other stuffed animals such as Beanie Babies that exploded across the United States during the 90's.  However, what makes Webkinz different is that on their tag there is a code that allows access to the "Webkinz World".

Webkinz World

Each Webkinz that you buy contains a code which you enter into website called Webkinz World.  This website is a keeps track of the amount of codes that you enter.  The more codes you enter the more cash, which is called KinzCash, you get.  This KinzCash is then used to purchase items for their pets within the world.  These items can be anything from food to clothing, and even different rooms.
